Campfire Coffee a Must!
If you are going to be camping you just
have to take along some great campfire coffee recipes. Why would you drink that plain old yucky sludge
when you can make fabulous campfire coffee using my secret recipes? Here are a few very good recipes for
you to try. Of course a quick search on the net would find plenty of
others.
But these are so good you’ll be hard pressed not to make them every
time.
When packing your food stuff to go camping besides your ground
coffee remember a bottle of hazelnut syrup and chocolate syrup or any other flavors you like.
Campfire Coffee To Die For
Boil four quarts of water in your camping coffee pot. Add 4 scoops
of fine grind coffee then steep for 6 to 7 minutes.
Now add ¼ cup of cold water to cause the grounds to settle to the bottom.
If you like coffee that’s a little stronger just add more scoops. If
you like it weaker add less scoops. Camfire coffee doesn't have to taste awful.
Okay now there are a few other things you can do to change the taste of your
campfire coffee. You can add some hot chocolate mix, you can add a dab of honey, or you can add a couple of
teaspoons of the syrups you brought with you.
If you are lucky enough to have an actual coffee percolator you
don’t have to bother adding the cold water to get the grounds to sink because they are already contained, but you
can follow all the other ideas just as you would for traditional camp coffee.
Of course if you are camping in a trailer or an RV you may even be
able to use your drip coffee maker. But why would you want to? Campfire coffee is a camping ritual that you should
not be without.
If you creative you can bring along some instant coffee so you can
make a cup of coffee on the fly when ever you get the urge. You can also bring along some of the cappuccino
mixes.
Camp coffee doesn’t have to taste awful! Once you figure out the
